Written for the Spook-Me Challenge of 2018.  An assignment in Belarus has the agents encountering a Slavic folk legend called Baba-Yaga.

Napoleon could hear the repeating soft mumbling in Belarusian from the tiny girl hiding in the closet. He couldn’t understand the words except for “Baba-Yaga, Baba-Yaga,” that were clear.  He had found her as they were searching the house for the last victim of the current attack on the villagers.
